There is great movement within this course and it is particularly evident here, in the movement of these treatises. It is experiential movement. The revolutionary and confounding aspect of our most holy writings is that it is nearly impossible to say through what means it has its effect; nearly impossible to say what you have learned or how you learned.
This must be purposeful. The treatises announce the end of learning. Beginning in A Course of Love, there is a call to leave the complex mechanisms of the mind behind. The new idea, like the talent that existed within before it was discovered, is that what we seek can be known…but not learned.
